Lower Farm, Ascot, Berkshire

If you feel you have the facilities to host a course please contact the National Coordination Centre (0871 641 2118) to obtain a full Host Information Pack and discuss this further. Venue requirements are as follows:

For the human introduction to the moves and theory discussion we will require a covered area with sufficient room to set up a couple of massage tables (these will be brought to the course by Lara). As the human element is only practiced during the mornings, this room may be arranged away from the yard for example at the host’s house or a local village hall. The lunch break is an appropriate transfer time to the horse venue.
For the equine work stables or an indoor arena are advisable, in order to provide protection against any inclement weather. An area large enough for a demonstration of a procedure with all students able to observe will be necessary. Students can then work singly or in pairs in stable if necessary.

The host should provide refreshments for arrival, morning and afternoon breaks (tea, coffee, soft drinks, water etc). With regards to lunches, the host can either provide lunches or ensure there is somewhere in the vicinity for students to purchase lunches.
