Equine Touch for Professionals If you are already a professional working with horses you may find that even just the Level One course would provide you with complementary skills. Equine Touch has been learnt by farriers, saddle fitters, bitting clinicians, chiropractors, equine behaviourists and trainers. Kathryn Penn MRCVS (attended Equine Touch Level One course August 2009 with Lara) “Regular hands on body work is an all too often neglected enhancement of our horses wellbeing and when applied properly can be an excellent tool to improve our horses resistance to injury. Equine touch is fun and easy to learn, the basics can be grasped in the level 1 three day course and immediately applied to the horse. Practitioners will benefit greatly from an improved knowledge and feel of their horse and the horse gains greater emotional and physical stability.I recommend it to all horse owners.”
Sue Palmer MCSP, MSc Veterinary Physiotherapist (ACPAT Category A), “Equine Touch is a valuable tool not only for you as a horse owner, but also for professionals such as Veterinary Physiotherapists. The teaching is accessible, thorough and enjoyable, and the effect on the horse can be seen and felt immediately. There is sound scientific theory behind 'the move', leading to a reduction in pain and tension and therefore an improvement in behaviour and performance. As a Veterinary Physiotherapist and Equine Behavioural Consultant, I fully support Lara in her efforts to teach Equine Touch, for the good of the horse.” Kelly Marks, Equine Behaviourist, Founder of Intelligent Horsemanship (attended Equine Touch Level One course in August 2008 with Lara)“Equine Touch can provide the horse owner with effective, easy to learn bodywork skills. Lara is an excellent ambassador for Equine Touch.” |
